I have a 2022 American Fender Tele Pro II, I like the way it sounds. I just purchased a road worn made in Mexico Brad Paisley silver sparkle Tele. Bridge pickup is just so so, but when you switch to neck pickup, it’s not great at all. What should I be replacing it with? A couple of guys I see In Nashville have your blues pickups. Hey Milt, a big hit in the Nashville circuit is our Blues Special Tele Pickups. That said, they are single coils and will pick up hum. If you wanted a hum-cancelling version of them, our Split Blades are great too - I recommend the Blues Output Split Blades with a 500K volume pot.

Hi, I would like to pair this Split steel pole with a noiseless p90 with alnico rod (in the neck position). I see your previous answer says these two pick ups are good match. I play a lot of clean rhythm in the middle position. Given this, would you recommend the 5% underwind output option? Hey Doug, good question - I would recommend the Stock Output as the Split Steel Pole isn't a "high output" pickup - it has plenty of clarity. Furthermore, if you use 500K pots, you'll get even more clarity, and will produce more snarl.

Hey Eddie, this pickup would be slightly lower output than your current Steel Pole 43 Tele Bridge. That said, it won't be a huge difference. We can absolutely wrap the bridge in White String, just use the "notes" field to request it. We cannot make a Split Steel Pole without the center cut on the top of the bobbin.

Dead quiet, sounds great! Plays great with my neck Lollartron, but I have to confess – I’m thinking about getting a split steel pole strat for the neck position! Great pickup!
I got the steel pole with a 5% underwind for my blackguard Esquire and… ooh la la it sounds tremendous! Tone and depth and sensitivity for days. I have always used Klein pickups but their customer service is poor. With Fralin I immediately had access to so many great resources AND a top of the line pickup. I’ve since bought a P90 for another guitar and couldn’t be happier. Now I wish all my guitars had Fralin in them!
i have been using the steelpole 43 bridge pickup in all my strats and teles. i wanted something with less hum, and this pickup delivered. same great tone, but dead quiet. when i have questions lindy personally answers the phone and gives incredible advice. i paired this pickup with the twangmaster on lindy’s advice, and i am in heaven. i have a lot if pickups by a lot of makers. bare knuckle, klein, dave allen, seymour duncan, nordstrand, tom anderson, suhr, just to name a few. slowly all my guitars have ended up with all fralin pickups.
Killer sounding pickup. I got stock output and it has the tone and grind I was after, very P90 and quiet. I replaced a Fralin vintage hot with 2% overwind with this, as it sounded too ‘thick’ for me. I am now very pleased.

After trying at least 4 different after-market pickups in my Tele, searching for “my” tone, I finally came to the realization that the best is right in my own back-yard (I live in the Richmond area).
The split P-90 is one of the most remarkable pickups I’ve ever played. It snarls, it twangs, it can be smooth as silk if you want it to be. Responds perfectly to vol. and tone controls. AND, it is dead-nuts quiet. It is simply the most expressive and satisfying Tele pickup I’ve ever heard.
Lindy and crew are *always* helpful and fun to talk with, and he is more than happy to discuss any questions one might have regarding installation and optimal set-up. I could not possibly be happier with my decision to finally buy the best. Thank you, Lindy, and the entire crew at Fralin Pickups!
My telecaster has never been more silent! I was hoping to maintain the clarity of a single coil while using my mahogany-bodied tele for more high-gain tones, and this pickup really did the trick. Powerful and warm without losing definition. I also appreciated all of the installation tips provided via email, as I learned something about pickups I didn’t know before!

This pickup sounds and looks great and is everything it is described as being. Blended perfectly with the tele’s neck pickup. Nice, warm but open and articulate sound that lacks nothing. Absolutely no 60 Hz hum. Amazing pickup!
