Woodstock FEATURES:

Woodstock – an era-authentic nod from Lindy Fralin to Lindy’s favorite guitarist – Jimi. Built as a replica of sorts, our Woodstocks feature era-authentic specifications, with one cool tweak – a left-handed “Tall G” stagger. Perfect for any Jimi enthusiasts, this set features a vintage output that’s in line with our best-selling Vintage Hots.

Also, these pickups have classic Grey Bottom bobbins, traditional cloth-wire, and USA-Made 42-gauge plain enamel wire.

  • Left-Handed Tall G Stagger for unique responsiveness and tone

  • Wound with USA-Made 42 Gauge Plain Enamel Wire and Grey-Bottom bobbins for an era-authentic look
  • Modified Vintage Fender specifications, with modern output
  • Bright, clean tone with balance across lows and highs
  • USA-made Alnico 5 Magnets for optimal tonal balance and output
  • RW/RP Middle for Hum-Cancelling in Positions 2 & 4
  • Hand-wound with our “Sectioning” technique for unique, dynamic tone
  • Hand-built fiberboard Bobbins for unrivaled quality control
  • 10-Year Warranty on manufacturing defects
  • 6K Neck & Middle, 6.6K Bridge

Woodstocks sparkle and sound open. These pickups sound big and full, with an even balance of Bass, Middle, and Treble, clean or dirty. Furthermore, the tone cuts through with distortion – while remaining very dynamic and thick.

Expect a precise low-end and an emphasized acute attack on the treble. Single notes cut through with ease, while chords have an excellent string-to-string definition.

Our manufacturing process allows us to achieve unparalleled quality control. Our Woodstocks consist of locally-stamped fiberboard and USA-Made Alnico 5 Magnets. We wind each pickup by hand, one at a time. We produce our bobbins in small batches and wind each pickup using our proprietary “Sectioning” technique, which gives the pickup a sweet, bright tone.

Finally, we wax-pot the pickup to preserve the pickup and prevent microphonics for years to come!

  1. Q What do you mean when you ask 'right handed or left handed ' when ordering a pickup

On certain models, you need a left-handed magnet stagger if you're a left-handed player.

  2. It looks like real 54s and Woodstock winds are the same, but the difference is the magnet (a3/A5) and the Lefty G magnet stagger, yes? Can I get a set of 54s with regular/standard stagger for a right handed guitar in A5? Or said a different way, can I get a set of Woodstock’s but with a righty vs lefty magnet stagger?

Wow! Now I know the difference!

I was playing around with some Hendrix backing tracks, with Woodstock in the neck position…Good tube am… Absolutely awesome!

I put these wonderful pickups in an early nighties USA deluxe Strat, that I bought up here in Canada a longtime ago.

I have been shopping for some hand wound pickups, made by someone who cares about music, for some time now… Lindy Fralin cares, really cares, about music.

Hendrix would have been proud to put a set of these in his guitar, of this I have no doubt.

It’s the first time I got to (actually) sound like Hendrix. LOL

Amazing pickup, thanks again Mr. Fralin.
