Coil Splitting

Want to coil split your SG’s pickups? We use CTS Pots to coil split them. Important: You need at least 1″ of control cavity depth.

Due to the nature of Raw Nickel, Raw Nickel may contain slight cosemetic defects or abrasions.
Recommendation:
We recommend using 2-Conductor With Shield Lead when purchasing a single pickup. 2-Conductor lead allows you to reverse the phase should you have phase issues. Learn About Lead Choice

  • Can I customize my harness?

    Yes you can! We offer a lot of customization on our site, but feel free to reach out to us at our contact form for anything you don’t see listed on the page. We’ll see what we can do.

  • Is my harness returnable?

    Customized Harnesses are not returnable. Standard Harnesses are returnable minus a restocking fee.

  • Does the harness come with a Switch?

    Yes, it comes with a Switchcraft Right Angle Switch.

  • Will this Harness fit my SG?

    We’ve tested our harnesses on Gibson and Epiphone SG’s. Gibsons fit perfectly.

    Epiphones, depending on the country of origin, may require a bit of finessing to fit, but will eventually drop in. We guarantee a fit in both guitars.

  • Do you offer Push Pull mods with your Prewired SG Harness?

    With the shallow control cavity depth of the SGs, most Push Pull pots will not fit. That said, we can discuss options – you would need a control cavity depth from the bottom of the cavity to the underside of the control plate cover of about 1-3/16″. Contact us if you want to proceed.
