Are you looking for the traditional Fender-type sparkle? You won’t find that here. The Fralin P90 is all Gibson! For that, we recommend checking out our Hum Cancelling Alnico Rod model.

It all starts here: our manufacturing process allows us to achieve unparalleled quality control. Lindy Fralin’s P90 in a Humbucker Cover consists of a precision injection mold and USA-Made Steel Screws. We use USA-Made Alnico 4 magnets to make this model scream. Each bobbin is carefully inspected and cleaned before winding.
We wind each pickup by hand, one at a time using our proprietary “Sectioning” technique. This winding technique gives our pickups a sweet, clear tone. Finally, we wax-pot the pickup to and prevent microphonics and preserve the pickup for years to come.

Hey Steven, any standard humbucker will work just fine. Just pay attention to your string spacing. If you want a traditional P90 tone, this is a great choice. We also have it in a hum-cancelling version.

Hey Jeff, I'd recommend the Twangmaster (if you can accomodate 50mm string spacing at your bridge) or the Sunbucker (Available in multiple sizes).

Hey Mike, as it turns out, we do not offer the Quick Connect system - actually, we recommend removing it altogether as while it does make swapping pickups easier, you are putting a plastic connection where a soldered connection should be. Upgrading to a soldered harness would be the best upgrade for your tone and reliability.

As usual, great sounding pickups. Put them in an ESP Eclipse CTM with a JB/59 and it’s tremendous. Quacks in the middle, great sounding neck and bridge. Perfect upgrade for any relatively inexpensive used guitar!
Above and beyond! From clean to crunch the P90 humbuckers rekindled a love for my StingRay RS. Super satisfied with the range of tones I can get.
Unbelievable but Lindy did it!!! I have a vintage les Paul special with P 90’s … fantastic tone .. I put a set of the raw nickel covered humbucker size P90 in another guitar I have and I’m telling you in blind fold test I’m not sure anybody can pick which is which … Customer service is as good as it can get !!! Fralin Rocks!!!!

Brought back to life!
Changed out the Humbuckers in my fender FSR custom Telecaster with a -5% and stock wind f/b respectively. PIckups created response and clarity like no other. With the amp on the edge of a breakup a little volume knob roll-off cleans up without loss of volume. Loved the action of the guitar but the tone was uninspiring because the original pickups were wound hot and had little dynamic range; these brought new life to my guitar. Tons of tone, clarity, and sensitivity to boost any playing style. Black chrome covers on a black guitar….stunning!! Thanks for making a great product!!!

It’s not exactly a P-90 and it’s not a humbucker, but it’s all single-coil, big fat sonic mojo. This is my second one. I used the first in the studio for my main slide tones in “The Paul” and I have this one on my touring semi-hollow body. It’s more predictable than my traditional P90 and it’s a great single-coil choice if you don’t want to start digging into your Les Paul like a jabroni. Seriously, it’s become one of my favorite tones both live and in the studio. These are an under-appreciated concept and Fralin hits the mark better than other similar choices I’ve tried -Adam Joad
