Features
Split Blade Tele Pickups: revolutionary design, pure Telecaster tone, no hum. Unlike most pickups, we designed our Split Blades with a left-right coil design, giving you a truer and more balanced single-coil tone. These pickups will drop right into your Telecaster, with no modifications necessary. You’ll get all the single-coil traditional tone, with no hum at all.
Our manufacturing process allows us to achieve unparalleled quality control. Split Blades consist of a precision injection mold and USA-Made Steel Blades. We use aggressive USA-Made magnets to make this model scream. Each bobbin is carefully inspected and cleaned before winding. We wind each pickup by hand, one at a time. Each pickup is wound using our proprietary “Sectioning” technique. This gives the pickup a sweet, clear tone. Finally, we wax-pot the pickup to preserve the pickup and prevent microphonics.

How It's Made:
Sound & Video
Unhappy with Hum-Cancelling Fender Pickups, Lindy designed the Split Blade. It’s a hum-canceling pickup with traditional Fender-type sparkle. They’re unique: they offer a single-coil sound, no hum, and dashingly good looks. Expect fantastic a warm, full-bodied tone with incredible string articulation and enhanced detail. Wound strings sound clear and articulate due to a narrow magnetic field. Plain strings sound thicker than a single-coil with more of a sonic footprint.
Chords will sound smooth and buttery, and single notes will sound large and full. Split Blades will not pull the strings out of tune – even if they get close to the strings. Also, adjusting the pickup’s height allows you to fine-tune your tone to your needs. Expect thick, warm, and dynamic tone with distortion.

2 We recommend a 0.02mfd Cap Value on most guitar and bass pickups. The exception is a Magic Cap, which Lindy prefers on the Bridge Pickup of Fender® guitars only. Learn More about Caps Here.
* Due to the unique design of this pickup, ohm readings aren't very helpful. Our Vintage Output is close to the a Vintage Strat Pickup output.

Here's how we wind and magnetize our pickups:
If you're buying a set from us, all pickups will work together seamlessly. If you're buying a single pickup, all you need to worry about is Coil Direction.
To ensure your pickup will work, make sure you select multiple leads (2-Conductor, 3-Conductor, or 4-Conductor if available), or the 3-Wire modification so you can reverse the coil direction, if need be.

The Tele split blade pickup set is best described at sweetness overload. They immediately felt incredibly musical and applicable to just about any genre (I would think). Using them with the Freeway switch provided a total of 6 tones, all outstanding. Plus, customer service is truly off the charts!
-
I dropped these in my thinline Tele and I can’t believe how great they sound. Simply amazing! There is no genre I cannot play with this guitar now.
-
These pickups are spectacular! I got the split blade high output for telecaster pickups put into a 2025 American Ultra Tele, and the guitar came to life! Big, full sound with plenty of bottom end, without being muddy, and that’s top end twang we all need from a Tele is well pronounced! We usually end our night with a Metallica cover, and they hold their own there too! Absolutely everything I wanted in a Tele pickup!
-
I talked to Lindy and he helped me choose the perfect pickups for my playing style. I purchased the Split Rail Vintage Pickups for my Telecaster. Telecaster sound without the hum and they are remarkable. Wonderful tone and quiet and they look so cool! I cannot wait to gig with this guitar!
Thank you Lindy!
-
I ordered these pickups after talking to Lindy and am very happy with them. I ordered a custom telecaster and the pickups sounded good but were noisy through my amp. Lindy took the time to discuss with me the sound I was looking for and these split blade vintage pickups are incredible! Excellent tele sound and very quiet. I could not be happier! I cannot wait to gig with them! They make me want to play! This guitar will be with me until I die!
Thank you Lindy!!!

I absolutely love these pickups!!!!!
Totally quiet with buckets of pure tone – great live and in the studio.
I can’t recommend them enough – -
I received my set of Split Blade Tele pickups (High Output) a few days ago, along with the pre-wired Tele control plate. Install was straight forward, no issues. Very pleasantly surprised by the results. These babies sound fantastic! I was debating between these and the Blues version. Very happy with choosing the High Output. My Tele still sounds like a Tele, but on a healthy dose of steroids! Took the guitar to rehearsal and its performance was nothing short of outstanding. Balance between the two pickups and string clarity is exceptional, plus it cuts through the mix with authority. My bandmates could immediately tell the difference and improvement in tone versus my other guitars. Super pleased with the results. Already planning on upgrading one of my other Tele’s with the same pickups, possibly one of my Strats, too. Great stuff!
-
Well made and easy to install. Sounds great. Only gave 4 stars because of output level. It was described as a “Super High Output” pickup, but I found it wasn’t noticeably louder than the stock Fender Noiseless pickup on my guitar (Fender Nashville Player Plus).
-
This is a great sounding pickup! The person I corresponded with was very helpful regarding which level of output winding would work best to match the neck pickup I was paring this with too. It does what they said: that telecaster sound that I love only with no noise.
-
Great pickups. Tele sound with out the 60 cycle!
-
These pickups gave my Telecaster a major tonal boost while eliminating the noise that stock single coils made. The bridge pickup works great for crispy chicken pickin’ and the neck pickup is smooth as silk. I highly recommend them if you play a wide variety of musical styles on the same guitar. Be careful to install and set them up properly and you won’t be disappointed.
