Sound
This pickup set is perfect for those looking for the most traditional Tele twang out of their Telecaster. Vintage Hot Tele Pickups excel at cleaner styles of music. Expect a robust and open midrange, clear bass strings, and bright and sharp-sounding plain strings. The break-up is smooth and late, ideal for cleaner players or a softer playing style.
Vintage Hot Tele Pickups are for those who need the most traditional Vintage Telecaster tone. If you’re playing style involves more distortion, or, if you prefer smoother, darker-sounding pickups, you might like our Blues Specials a bit more. However, If your current pickups are too dark, or if you’re looking for some added definition and clarity, you will love these. You’ll wonder why you didn’t make the switch earlier.
Are you looking for a Hum Cancelling Tele pickup that actually sounds like a Tele? Check out the Vintage Output of our Split Blade Tele Pickups
Our manufacturing process allows us to achieve unparalleled quality control. These Telecaster pickups consist of local fiberboard and USA-Made Alnico 5 Magnets. We wind each pickup by hand, one at a time. Each pickup is wound using our proprietary “Sectioning” technique. This gives the pickup a sweet, clear tone. Finally, we wax-pot the pickup to preserve the pickup and prevent microphonics. Rest assured: when you receive this pickup, you’ll know it’s painstakingly made with love.

Purchased two Stock Tele neck pickups, one went in neck position on Tele, the other in middle position. Perfect combination of clarity, articulation, and bite with full lows and rich mids.
-
Excellent pickup! Would recommended it over any Tele bridge pickup on the market. Fralin is ahead of curve.

Just wanted to let you know that the Tele bridge pickup I bought from you a couple weeks ago is Awesome! Love it. The tone, spank, and twang is perfect. This pickup is much hotter than I expected. Thank you for the great work!

I put this in a tele that has a p-rail humbucker in the bridge and it sounds great. When I ordered this pickup. Lindy called to advised me to get the +2 to help balance things out. He also advised that I install 500ohm resistor and explained how it works and how wire it. The result is a real nice sounding guitar. I really liked that Lindy called to make sure that i got the right pickup.

Excellent! I’ve got Stock Tele Set. There are excellent !!!

Stock neck & +2% bridge
Perfect vintage tone. Will make any Tele style guitar sound like it came out of the 50s. Save your $$$ on custom shop/boutique guitars, put these in a base model Tele & you’ll still turn heads with your tone. Fralins are the best!

I put the pickups and the control plate in my American Pro Telecaster. The stock PUs sounded good but a bit sterile to me. With the +2 pickups however the tone is so lively and it responds so much better to pick attack. Harmonically rich tones. Rings out beautifully. Installation was very easy because labeled temporary wires were soldered to the control plate so I didn’t need any wiring diagram. Highly recommended.

Just installed a set of standard Tele pickups with 2% overwind on both pickups in a new Fender American Ultra which is incredible but just didn’t have the Tele sound. All I can say is wow. Blows away the Fender noiseless pickups. Very clear and open sound and they can also rock too. No problem getting dirty. Only had a chance to play them fir a few minutes late last night but I don’t hear any noise from them. Can’t wait to out them through their paces. I don’t know why anyone would want to keep the stock Fenders. Also, I got the pre-wired control plate with the 4th position option (pull/push treble knob). Awesome full sound when combining both pickups. I love that option as the Tele looks stock. If you have a Tele and want a Tele sound you have to get these. Uninstalled the whole set with ease. A few solder joints and you’re done.

Everything I Asked For
I love these Stock Tele pickups with 2% overwind: I get the Telecaster twang with a little extra power for blues and rock. Great tone with plenty of volume and even response across all strings. If you’re looking for versatility, these are a fantastic choice.

Great Upgrade
I recently picked up a surf green Tele Custom but the bridge pick up wasn’t working. I have some hotter pick ups in some of my other Teles so I wanted something more traditional and I am very happy with these. I ordered the stock set, no overwinds and I really dig them so far. Bridge has a great bite and the neck is clear and warm. Will definitely be outfitting more of my guitars with Fralines in the future. Very interested in the tele-P90 model.

Stock Tele
This set is great. Piano-like chimney ring out. Beautiful tone from both neck and bridge. I put them in a pine body with a maple neck. Glad I didn’t go with overwound, the bridge sounds great clean, and takes dirt pedals very well. Glad I went with Fralin.

Best tele pickups on the market
I bought the stock set for my telecaster and it really brought the instrument to life. Perfect tele twang and snap without being too trebly. If you are on the fence about buying this then just pull the trigger.

Pretty much exactly what I want from a Telecaster bridge pickup
I ordered this Telecaster bridge pickup for a whiteguard Esquire build that had a hotter output PU that sounded great, but I wanted to try something that would give me a more traditional Tele bridge tone. Customer service was extremely helpful in helping me find the correct version to try (for example, since my guitar has a compound radius neck, I needed the hybrid stagger rather than the stock stagger). This pickup is pretty much the Tele bridge sound that I have in my head…plenty of twang and chime without the “icepickiness” that some Tele pickups can have. It took a guitar that I already played a lot and made it the guitar that I’ve wanted for a long time. Thanks again!

Rewired my Tele Ultra
I have a 2020 Fender Telecaster Ultra. The Tele noiseless pickups sounded dead and lifeless. So I got a set of Lindy Fralin’s Telecaster pickups and that guitar has totally come to life. I have Fralin pickups in my two Stratocaster’s and they are awesome and I could not be happier with my telecaster. Thank you!

Made my Tele my favorite guitar
I never liked the neck position on my Tele, even though I loved the feel of the guitar. I finally got the Fralin Stock Tele neck pickup, and it transformed my guitar into my desert island instrument. It’s got that punchy Jimmy Page on Led Zeppelin I sound. Customer service was great; they made sure the pickup was RW/RP to the stock Squier bridge pickup. Love love love this pickup.

Sounds like butter! Called these guys up when one of my factory Tele pups went bad to ask about options. Ended up with the Tele “stock” model. They’re the best sounding Tele pickups I’ve ever heard. Thanks, guys!

Another Fralin Pickup Winner
After owning the Blues Special (which was great) I decided to go with the Classic for a Thinline Tele build. Couldn’t be happier! What a nice, vintage sound. I imagine this is what the big money early Tele sounds like. The Bridge Classic is clear, thick, and biting and the neck matches it perfectly. I see no reason to go with another manufacturer, this is American made and it is possible Mr. Fralin will call you to discuss your specific needs before building.

Just right! Was looking for vintage output and good clear high-end, and I got both!
