Sound & Video
This pickup set is perfect for those looking for the most traditional Tele twang out of their Telecaster. Vintage Hot Tele Pickups excel at cleaner styles of music. Expect a robust and open midrange, clear bass strings, and bright and sharp-sounding plain strings. The break-up is smooth and late, ideal for cleaner players or a softer playing style.
Vintage Hot Tele Pickups are for those who need the most traditional Vintage Telecaster tone. If you’re playing style involves more distortion, or, if you prefer smoother, darker-sounding pickups, you might like our Blues Specials a bit more. However, If your current pickups are too dark, or if you’re looking for some added definition and clarity, you will love these. You’ll wonder why you didn’t make the switch earlier.
Are you looking for a Hum Cancelling Tele pickup that actually sounds like a Tele? Check out the Vintage Output of our Split Blade Tele Pickups
Our manufacturing process allows us to achieve unparalleled quality control. These Telecaster pickups consist of local fiberboard and USA-Made Alnico 5 Magnets. We wind each pickup by hand, one at a time. Each pickup is wound using our proprietary “Sectioning” technique. This gives the pickup a sweet, clear tone. Finally, we wax-pot the pickup to preserve the pickup and prevent microphonics. Rest assured: when you receive this pickup, you’ll know it’s painstakingly made with love.

Amazing!!!
Lindy never disappoints. This is my second set of LF pick ups. Won’t be the last. Wonderful clarity and note separation. Just the best. That’s all that needs to be said.
-
2% overwind Tele Neck Pickup. Clear as a bell and a huge improvement over my old neck pickup. Quiet. A lot more Tele playing!
-
I just got my Fender 52 AVRI Telecaster back from Installing my Lindy Frailn Stock Tele Pickups! I got the 2% Overwind in the Neck and 5% Overwind on the Bridge! And I tell you…It Sounds Great! I tried the Fender Custom Shop Nocasters and the SD Antiquity 55’s…Nothing bad to say about those pickups..they are great pickups..but not the sound I wanted. But these Fralins are what I was looking for and LF Delivered! Great Job and Kudos to Lindy Fralin!!!
-
I built a new Tele for a friend with your pickups..My friend can’t put it down. Your pickups are great thank you for fine craftsmanship.

My Fralin Telecaster pickups are amazing
I put Lindy’s pickups in my Stratocaster and when my Tele needed some love I came straight here. Superb quality and wow, my Telecaster has some powerful new life. Love these pickups, best choice I could’ve made

Stock +2% and a Real 54 on a Nashville-ized Tokai Breezysound Paisley Tele. I win. This is my 3rd set of Fralins and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks again!
-
The +2 stock Tele pickups are fantastic. They eliminate every bit of harshness I heard in the stock Fender pickups while delivering crystal highs with a very natural and open sound.

I now have the best sounding Tele
I have owned 20 maybe 30 Teles in my life. My first was an early 70’s with a Bigsby. It was my 2nd electric guitar. My current Classic Vibe Tele with Lindy’s is the best sounding I have ever owned. Thank you Lindy!

I’ve had these in my MIM player series telecaster for a few months now, they sound great.

40 year old re-build
Your new pick ups are the crowning touch in finishing a old re-build from my ‘South of the James’ days. I’ll bring it by one day and let you see it!

I absolutely loved my daybreak telecaster i pitched in for to get for Christmas but the one thing that just constantly let me down we’re the pickups. It just didn’t sound like a tele to me. Lo and behold I slap these things in and I’ve got all the telecaster tone at my fingertips. Absolutely in love with these pickups.

Twang for days!
I went with the 2% overwind, and good grief I’ve never heard a better sounding Tele. I’m playing these in a custom-built partscaster, 4-way switch, through a hand made tweed 5f2a clone. Straight in I have all the country and blues mojo I could ever want and more! With an overdrive pedal, it covers all the bases. A sweet chime from the neck, all the snap and twang I’ll ever need from the bridge, nice, rich, fat sounds from both. Perfect Tele tone. Thanks, guys!

Fralin – Tele pickups
Clear, clean and balanced! The tonal detail is purely amazing.

Congratulation on your 30th anniversary, I have a very old set of what I believe to be stock Tele pickups installed on my 1991 AVRI. I purchased the pickups new in 1992 and have been more than happy with them. Depending on how hard I pick the strings the guitar can sound like the Dragon when asked too. These days I am playing the blues using the bridge pickup with the tone half way on. This pickup has 1 raised pole and the neck pickup has a cover. Please be safe and home to see your 50th anniversary.

Hello I recently purchased a Nashville Tele pickup set consisting of 2% overwound Stock Tele pickups with a Vintage Hot Strat middle pickup. I installed them 2 weeks ago and absolutely love them. They are perfectly balanced in output and tone. There is no hum or buzzing or phase issues. Combined with my B Bender, they make my Tele so versatile and fun to play. I highly recommend this Nashville Tele set, it’s the perfect medium output. This is the fourth set of Tele pickups I’ve bought from Lindy Fralin in the last 7 years and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve also had his bass pickups as well and I can’t say enough good things about Lindy’s products. The people there do great work and turn out first-class products. My pickups were shipped on time and safely packaged. I will be a customer for life.

Great sounding pickup
Neck pickup opened up a bit comparing to the Japanese version I used before.

Fralin Stock Tele and Vintage Hot Strat
I brought 2 sets, the Tele replacements first, then the Strat.
Stock Tele: went into a 61CS Tele. I went for the 5% overwound bridge but wish I had got the 2% or stock bridge as the bridge pup is a little too edgy. The neck pup is perfect.
Vintage Hot Strat: went in a 62CS Strat, and are beautifully balanced, with enough sting, very happy with these.
