If you're buying a set from us, all pickups will work together seamlessly. If you're buying a single pickup, all you need to worry about is Coil Direction.
To ensure your pickup will work, make sure you select multiple leads (2-conductor with shield), or the 3-Wire modification so you can reverse the coil direction, if need be.

What pickup height do you recommend setting your Split Steel Poled Teles to?
Our recommended Pickup Height is 1/8" (3.175mm) on the Bass Side and 1/16"( 1.5875mm) on the Treble Side. Measure by holding the corresponding side down at its highest fret and measure from the bottom of the string to the top of the pole piece.

Will this fit my Telecaster's Bridge assembly?
Yes! Although you may have to tilt the pickup and “slide” the top through the opening. Doing so carefully won’t damage the pickup in any way.

This pickups has it all! Hum cancelling with Tele twang plus the punch of a P-90. I love it mixed with a neck humbucker. The power matches well. It’s also great in combo with a standard Tele neck pickup. I know it would be a miracle feat to make a neck pickup in the Tele format that matches. You can do it Lindy!

Yeah the pickup is just not like your standard tele bridge pickup, its smooth yet has the perfect volume. I like that its not too bright or sparkley yet has the punch to cut thru with clarity its a nice pair with my blues special neck pickup. I have a few telecasters & this may be my favorite pickup, TY

It sounds fantastic. I put it in the bridge position of an electrified dobro I play. Bridge Tele pickups have the widest pole spacing of any standard sized pickups. Even f-spacing is a little narrow for dobro. It’s very spanky. It can do classic country twang or shreddy leads. It’s got nice attack and a high end that is present without being harsh.

Best sounding pick up I have ever heard. The versatility is amazing. This one was used in a customer’s build but I will be using these in my own personal guitars as well.

This is my go to Tele bridge pickup. I pair it with Lindy’s Pure PAF in the neck. I have this combo in three Teles , different neck , fingerboard, and body woods. I use 500k pots to add a little of the Tele high end back into the bridge pickup. For me this is the ultimate Tele combo, from clean tones to full hard rocking crunch, it’s all there…………….and no hum. I wanted a Tele bridge pickup which would pair well with my favorite PAF and this is it. I can plug straight into my Tweed Champ and it works great or plug into my pedal board which runs into a 18 watt Marshall / Orange Rocker 15 wet/dry setup and it really works. The harmonics and touch sensitivity is special, which is what I love most about Lindy’s pickups.

This pickup wasn’t what I was expecting (but it turns out well 🙂 It wasn’t a high output, in your face type pickup. Not sure it was working right I called and spoke with Lindy. He helped me understand what this pick up is, so I made some changes to my guitar. Put in a stock output neck pickup and switched to 500k pots. Knowing that if I ever want to hear 250K, I can just turn my tone knob to around 7. And when I did these changes, and lost my expectations, it turned into a very incredible pickup. Throaty, gorgeous, thick mids. And all the high you would want without too much. Out of all my guitars, I go to this bridge and never put it down. And to top it off…silent!

This is one of my favorite pickups ever. I’m a massive fan of P-90s and this definitely fits the bill. I have a fender esquire that I replaced the original pickup with this and it’s fantastic. The wide range of tones I experience from this esquire with this pickup is just what I wanted in an electric guitar. I 100% recommend it!

Fantastic pickup. Lifelong humbucker player wanting to see what tele fuss was about. Std tele pickups all sounded weak and thin. The Split Steel Pole was the sound I was looking for in a tele. Clarity, grit, punch, thickness, touch sensitivity, and output to keep up with my humbuckers and P90s. And it’s quiet, which is a bonus. This pickup is the real deal, couldn’t be happier.

Absolutely killer pickup. Has that nice p90 grit, but still retains some of that nice tele brightness. Plus no hum, so it is like the perfect pickup. I love the tele single coil sound but wanted a little more grit for punk and heavier rock, and now I have the best of both worlds.

Dead quiet, sounds great! Plays great with my neck Lollartron, but I have to confess – I’m thinking about getting a split steel pole strat for the neck position! Great pickup!

I got the steel pole with a 5% underwind for my blackguard Esquire and… ooh la la it sounds tremendous! Tone and depth and sensitivity for days. I have always used Klein pickups but their customer service is poor. With Fralin I immediately had access to so many great resources AND a top of the line pickup. I’ve since bought a P90 for another guitar and couldn’t be happier. Now I wish all my guitars had Fralin in them!

i have been using the steelpole 43 bridge pickup in all my strats and teles. i wanted something with less hum, and this pickup delivered. same great tone, but dead quiet. when i have questions lindy personally answers the phone and gives incredible advice. i paired this pickup with the twangmaster on lindy’s advice, and i am in heaven. i have a lot if pickups by a lot of makers. bare knuckle, klein, dave allen, seymour duncan, nordstrand, tom anderson, suhr, just to name a few. slowly all my guitars have ended up with all fralin pickups.

Killer sounding pickup. I got stock output and it has the tone and grind I was after, very P90 and quiet. I replaced a Fralin vintage hot with 2% overwind with this, as it sounded too ‘thick’ for me. I am now very pleased.

After trying at least 4 different after-market pickups in my Tele, searching for “my” tone, I finally came to the realization that the best is right in my own back-yard (I live in the Richmond area).
The split P-90 is one of the most remarkable pickups I’ve ever played. It snarls, it twangs, it can be smooth as silk if you want it to be. Responds perfectly to vol. and tone controls. AND, it is dead-nuts quiet. It is simply the most expressive and satisfying Tele pickup I’ve ever heard.Lindy and crew are *always* helpful and fun to talk with, and he is more than happy to discuss any questions one might have regarding installation and optimal set-up. My telecaster has never been more silent! I was hoping to maintain the clarity of a single coil while using my mahogany-bodied tele for more high-gain tones, and this pickup really did the trick. Powerful and warm without losing definition. I also appreciated all of the installation tips provided via email, as I learned something about pickups I didn’t know before!

This pickup sounds and looks great and is everything it is described as being. Blended perfectly with the tele’s neck pickup. Nice, warm but open and articulate sound that lacks nothing. Absolutely no 60 Hz hum. Amazing pickup!
