Attack:

How do they sound? Thick, dark, and quick to break up! Whether you play clean or dirty, you’ll be impressed by the massive midrange and smooth highs this set provides you. You’ll notice the compressed beefy tone and low-end growl, perfect for combining with other pickup designs, like a Humbucker or P90.

You can expect a less emphasized attack as the highs are smoother and darker than our Standard Tele sets, like our Blues Special, which features a more pronounced pick attack. Due to this set’s compressed, thick nature, you can expect to move away from the tone of the Telecaster. With distortion, you’ll notice a smooth grind that will transform your Tele into a real tonal powerhouse.

It all starts here: Our manufacturing process allows us to achieve unparalleled quality control. Our High Output Tele Pickups consist of locally-stamped fiberboard and USA-Made Alnico 5 Magnets – in fact, 100% of the High Output Tele set is USA-Made, including every part.

We wind each pickup by hand, one at a time, and wind each pickup using our proprietary “Sectioning” technique. This gives the pickup a sweet, clear tone. Finally, we wax-pot the pickup to prevent microphonics and to preserve the pickup for years to come.

Ordered a set for my Fender American Telecaster Elite to replace the stock noiseless pickups that came with the guitar. This is one of the fatter sounding guitars in my collection and I was hoping to find a high output pickup option that wasn’t just hot – but, had some vintage characteristics and personality in the mid/treble register. This pickup combination does that in spades and sounds fantastic in all pickup positions both clean and dirty. Also, I appreciate the time Lindy spent answering my spec questions before placing my order. Great experience. Thanks again!

I purchased a set of high output telecaster pickups. I had the bridge over wound to tame some of the high end. I installed these in a parts caster that I built. The set is just what I was looking for. They are a bit darker than the blue’s special set. This set is simply amazing in my new build. Can’t praise them enough. If you are looking for a set to breathe new life into a standard sounding telecaster this set is for you. Very fast turnaround and very helpful during the purchasing process. This set will play country to hard rock. Thank you for building great sounding pickups. I’ll be back for more soon.

This is a fantastic pickup and is just what I was looking for to combine with a new Fender USA CuNiFe Wide Range Humbucker in a Vintera 70s Telecaster custom. The stock bridge pickup sounded great in its own for a traditional Tele sound, but it sounded a bit thin in comparison to the Wide Range and the middle position sound wasn’t what I was looking for exactly. The High Output Tele bridge pickup works perfectly. It is thicker, fuller sound while still having enough bite and twang to sound like a Tele. I couldn’t recommend this pickup enough. Also, installation was a breeze after Lindy spoke to me himself prior to shipping my pickup to make sure there would be no polarity or phasing issues. Overall it was a fantastic experience.

This is my second set of pickups from Lindy. Nothing compares… this set went into my 1969 telecaster, nothing less than perfection. Love them…

So got the High Output set today and put them in, took about an hour to do all including new strings and pu height adjustment. Am very happy with these, the neck and middle position have way more beef, and the 10k bridge will still twang. Kick in an od and it really sings. I have the Broadcaster or hybrid almost flat pole pieces and have them set high close to strings, just below where it would feed back. Uncovered neck so up close too, but not where there is “stratitis”. Very powerful like I prefer my teles. Great communication and fast delivery as always, I’ve probably had 20 Fralin Pickups over the years, in strats and teles. These have replaced (for now) a set of blues specials that are also great pickups.

No doubt that Lindy Fralin is the best to deal with. From inquiring on pickups to control plate configuration to payment, very easy to deal with . Great customer service. I wanted something unique for my new old Tele. I decided to go with high output humbucker in the neck and and high output Tele in the bridge. Took them to my guitar tech and after installing them he was blown away how good they sounded , which made me even more excited about getting the guitar back. And he wasn’t kidding. My new go to !!!! Thank you Mr Fralin for your expertise. By the way you now turned my guitar guy from a Seymour fan to a Lindy fanatic.

Frist off Fralin has about the best customer service I have received from any company.

As far the the product goes, I really think he has something special with these Hight Output Tele pickups. I have a T-style guitar with a PAF style humbucker in the neck position and was having a hard time finding a bridge pickup that worked well in the guitar. Lower output pickups sounded good by themselves, but the drop in output and fullness going between the neck and bridge was so stark it was difficult to dial an amp in to sound good with both positions. I tried several other companies high output pickups, and while they solved the drop in output and fullness problem, they ended up lacking the classic Tele twang and chime I really love. These Fralin High Output pickups are different. They somehow have enough output, bass and mids to keep up with the neck humbucker, but still have all the tele twang and snap I could ask for. They sound so good I am even considering putting a pair in my traditional tele with a single coil neck pickup. I definitely recommend checking them out.

I can’t say enough about the great customer service I received from Lindy and his wife with my order. I’m getting amazing tones, both clean and dirty, from this bridge pickup and have it paired with Lindy’s Pure PAF in the neck. It’s a great match for the music I play.

I can’t wait to get my next set of pickups from this crew, amazing work!
