Lindy Fralin’s Custom Les Paul wiring features the following:
- Master Volume
- Blender Pot
- Phase Reverse Switch
- Coil Splits per Humbucker
Hum Hum Stratwith 5-Way Blade Switch. It features a Master Volume and Master Tone. Normally when we wire up a 2-pickup Strat, we use a 3-way blade switch and Push-Pull Pots to coil split the Humbuckers. In this case, we’re using a 5-way blade switch – it’s a bit of a strange wiring configuration, but you may like it for your tastes!
- Position 1 = Bridge
- Position 2 = Bridge + Neck
- Position 3 = Neck
- Position 4 = Neck Coil Split
- Position 5 = Bridge Coil Split.

This custom Les Paul wiring diagram features a single tone pot, unlike the standard Les Paul wiring. A customer requested this diagram, so we’d figure we’d share! This Les Paul wiring diagram also features a master coil split.
This Les Paul Wiring Diagram features a Blender Pot and two Gradual Split (Partial Splits). This allows you to coil split both humbuckers gradually. To perform this mod, you’ll need two humbuckers with 3-Conductor Lead and a Blender Pot.
This Gibson Les Paul Wiring Diagram features two 500K Push-Pull pots that allow you to coil split the humbuckers. Each pickup has it’s own separate coil split control, allowing you to coil split each pickup individually.
