Please note: that while we try and make every effort to make sure everything matches, different manufacturers and dye lots can cause subtle differences in hue and tone.
Choose your pickups
With our pickguards, you can choose any combination of pickups you would like. Load in a calibrated set of pickups like our best-selling Vintage Hots or Blues Specials, or mix and match!
Choose your Cover Color
Customize your look further with our Strat Pickup Covers. We have Black, Mint Green, Parchment (Aged White), and White covers available.
Wiring
Customize your pickguard’s wiring by selecting between two powerful wiring options. Select between Fralin Pickups Wiring and Standard Stratocaster® Wiring.
Fralin Pickups Wiring features an intuitive layout: a Master Volume, Master Tone, and a Blender Pot. The Blender Pot delivers incredible versatility by allowing you to combine the Neck and Bridge, for Telecaster-type tones, and more. Fralin Pickups wiring is Lindy’s favorite way to wire a Stratocaster.
Standard Stratocaster Wiring delivers a classic take on the Strat – a Master Volume, Neck & Middle Tone, and a separate Bridge Tone. This wiring allows you to select multiple cap values for a bit more tone versatility.
Custom Requests can be made using the “notes” field.

Hi! I have all my options picked, but don't know enough about the pot styles to make "the right" decision. I'm going with an SSS, Vintage Hot in all positions, stock stagger, with tone controls functioning as tone-neck/middle, and tone-bridge. For this configuration what do you recommend: 250K, 300K or 500K? Thanks

Hey Paul, we recommend going with 250K for your configuration. - Tyler
Hi, good day! I would just like to ask if there is an option/special request available for a Stratocaster wiring with the option of having the bridge and neck pickup together (like in a tele middle position) which can be activated through a push-pull pot. I believe this is called the "7-Sound Stratocaster wiring". Thank you.

Hey Doran, we don't have it in a Push-Pull pot, but you can select a Blender Pot in Tone Pot 2. This will allow you to get Neck and Bridge tones and use the pot's sweep to actually blend the other pickup in gradually. For example, if you were on your Bridge pickup, turning the Blender Pot will gradually activate the Neck pickup and vice versa. In the Middle Positions, you can get all three pickups on at the same time. - Tyler
Would it be possible to do a standard vintage Strat Pot layout? Eg. Volume - Neck Tone - Middle Tone? Or do we have to use the more modern layout? Eg. Volume-Neck & middle tone-Bridge tone?

NOTES ON COLOR:
- Please note that while we strive to provide the most accurate color representation possible, different computer monitors, manufacturer dye lots, and other circumstances may prevent the color from matching perfectly.
- Since we cannot guarantee color matching, we cannot provide a return to you if you are unhappy with the color matching of our Prewired Strat Pickguard.
HARNESSES:
- Our parts and wire lengths are designed to work seamlessly with our Prewired Strat Pickguard. Due to various guitar and instrument designs, we cannot guarantee that our parts will fit properly, and due to this, we do not offer Wiring Harnesses.
Wow! I’m super pleased with the 50s p bass hybrid split coil. Just amazing and full of tone. 5 star product, easy. I really want another ASAP.
a fantastic product and a beautiful wiring job.
These pickups have transformed my strat.
Great sound and definitely worth the price.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Lindy and all the staff at Fralin, in particular Ellen who was a great help in coordinating my order.
I have a 1962 MIJ Fender Strat (1986 model) but always felt that the pickups were “weak.” The guitar itself is beautiful and has aged well. Since coming across Fralins pickups several years ago, I thought it was time to do the right thing and finally give the Strat a bit of attention. I ordered a loaded pick guard with Blues specials in all three positions. The issue was that I wanted to ensure that the pick guard would drop straight in as the screw holding the pickguard on a ’62 is in the middle of the neck and middle pickup, whereas the newer strats (post “63) have the screw closer to the middle pick up. Ellen put me in touch with WD music, who arranged delivery of a pickguard suitable for my guitar to Lindy. The result was both sonically and visually perfect. The pick guard dropped straight in and as soon as I played the first few notes, the room just filled with a tone that I cannot describe. The guitar has come alive with power that just rumbles through you. The neck position is absurd. I absolutely love it.
I have had countless positive comments about the tone of the guitar.
I have a collection of 11 guitars however the ’62 strat was my first and is the most sentimental guitar I have. In recent years It has taken a bit of a back seat, but no more.
Thank you, Lindy, for the joy you have given me.
