"Hello there. My name is Bob and I just finished my latest strat project. I used a set of Lindy's vintage hot pickups and I have to tell you, I needed to sit down when I heard them. These are the cleanest sounding pickups I have ever heard. A friend of mine has a set, and that is how I heard about them. I used a 500k pot in the volume instead of the traditional 250k, MAN! what a difference! All the chime and output you could ever want from a strat. Also I installed a switch for the bridge pickup to be turned on with the neck as opposed to the blender pot thing, now that is a cool sound. Thanks so much Lindy for really putting in the effort to create a product that customers can truely be happy with. Keep up the good work. Now for my next project........

"Hello, here is a my project guitar, a late model Far East made Epiphone Emperor. I found it is a local music store here in Pasadena. It was CHEEP! Even though the Emperor is a Jazz a, this one was shipped from the factory in the wackie gold glitter-flake. Very Kustom! I tossed out the Jazz-bo Pickup/pickguard/control combo for a pair of Lindy's Alnico poll P-90's (WOW thanks Lindy!!!), added the white plexi-glass guard and body mounted the controls. The way out tailpiece is old stock Kay. The matching cast knobs and roto-switch 'paddle' are from a 50's oscilloscope! The roto-switch I installed was leftover 50's/60's surplus. It is ceramic with goldplate contacts. I set it for four clicks, bridge, both out of phase SERIES (T-bone!), both in phase and neck. At lower volume the sound is big, lush and has a Fender-like twang. At mid volume it is fat and honky and it gets gritty and feeds back easily as you go up from there.

"Ever since putting a P-92 into the neck my Tele I suspected that this would also be a great pickup in a Les Paul. Well I just finished putting a set into my Custom Shop Florentine and my suspicions were correct! Your P-92's really woke this guitar up! The tone is full, rich, phat and clear. I've got 8,000 turns on the neck and 9,000 on the bridge and for blues I could not be happier. In comparison to my P-90 equipped Les Pauls, I really do prefer this one. I think you really hit a home run with this new pickup! I wonder what a Tele with two P-92's would sound like with 4-way switching? Hmmmmmm..."

"Well, I did it again. Because I’ve had such good success with my P-92 powered "Keef" Tele and Les Paul Florentine I put a pair of them into this Tele along with 500k pots, oil in foil tonecaps, and 4-way switching. I took it to my local music emporium and when I hit the first note, mouths just dropped open. The tone from this creation is just amazing. It’s got a lot of Tele in it and with the Fender scale length it has a lot of snap to it too, but there is so much more to its tone. It is full, rich, articulate, Phat, warm and sweet, with a lot of meat to it. Turn it and it can get pretty gutbucket bluesy if you want as well. Yep, P-92’s work just great in the Tele platform too! They have become my favorite pickup, buy far!"

"Lindy and Company:
Folks, I wanted to say thanks again for the great pickups. Here are some pictures of my latest Warmoth Strat project. I installed a set of Lindy Fralin Blues Specials (+5% overwound) and a Fralin Zebra Humbucker. They sound fantastic! I get a really warm blues tone on the single coils and the humbucker absolutely roards without overpowering the single coils. Thank you so much for a wonderful product. Keep up the great work!"

"Here's my Tokai LS90Q. The bridge pickup has been changed out to a Fralin 9k in zebra. The tone is absolutely stunning and complex and is now EASILY my best sounding 'Les Paul'. The plugged in tone finally matches what the guitar sounds like unplugged. Thanks Lindy!!"

"This is my project guitar with Fralin Blues Special strat style single coils. The body is swamp ash; the neck is maple with an ebony finger board.

The electronics are all passive yet very versatile and includes: A master volume with treble bleed circuit is the first knob next to the lead pickup.

The middle knob position is a varitone switch coupled with a push pull pot at the third knob position for control of the varitone circuit. You can also pull this pot up and it adds the outside pickups in the circuit for more pickup combinations.

Last but not least, the Suhr silent single coil back plate is installed which allows pure single coil tone with no noise – even when your amp is overdriven! The sound is simply amazing. "
